Abundant Ventures and Secret Recipe: A Sustainable Alliance

 

In 2023, Abundant Ventures and Secret Recipe forged a unique alliance, aiming to tackle food waste and redefine sustainable practices. Over a transformative year, Secret Recipe, a culinary haven, took charge of collecting and composting 13 tons of vegetable food waste whilst Abundant Ventures deployed this new compost to our coconut farm.

Secret Recipe meticulously sorted and collected kitchen waste in order to reduce food waste going to the landfills and Abundant Ventures leveraged off this nutrient-rich compost as a substitute for chemical fertilizers.

This revelation led to a significant shift in their approach to sustainable agriculture. By supplying the coconut farm with this organic compost, the collaboration successfully reduced the need for chemical fertilizers by an impressive 10 tons. The coconut farm thrived under this eco-friendly approach, witnessing healthier coconut palms and increased yields.
