TANOTI

Abundant Ventures is working with Tanoti, a company that is composed of Sarawakian women weavers and artisans that make hand-made rattan platters.

The traditional technique used for the rattan platter is called coiling and has won the UNESCO World Craft Council Award of Excellence for Handicraft in 2016. These rattan platters are the product of a joint project between Tatoti and  UNIMAS. The local Penan artisans of Long Lamai in Ulu Baram, Sarawak produced these complex platters.
